Stories, Chapters, and Drafts

  • Story – A collection of chapters that you create. Each story can grow over time and may include contributions from other writers.
  • Chapter – A section of a story. Most stories use chapters to organize content, but the structure is up to you.
  • Draft – A proposed change or addition to a chapter. Drafts allow writers to suggest edits or new content without changing the live story right away.

Merges and Version History

  • Merging – When a draft is approved, it becomes part of the story.
  • Version History – Every time a draft is merged, the system saves a new version. Nothing is lost—you can always see what changed and who contributed.

Story Visibility

  • Public stories – Visible to everyone. Anyone can read them and submit drafts.
  • Private stories – Visible only to you and people you specifically allow.

Draft Approval

Every proposed draft must be reviewed and approved by the story owner before it is merged.

NSFW and Content Rules

  • NSFW stories must be marked when created.
  • NSFW stories are hidden when NSFW viewing is disabled, except from their owners and accepted collaborators.
  • Prohibited content includes: illegal material (such as CSAM), plagiarism, harassment, or hate speech. Violations may result in removal or account suspension.

Accounts and Profiles

  • Free accounts – Required to create stories or contribute drafts, but not required to read.
  • Profiles – Show your display name, bio, avatar, stories you've created, and contributions you've made.
  • Edit Profile – Update your name, avatar, and bio at any time through your account menu.

Common Questions

Can I delete a story?

Yes, but merged drafts and version history may remain.

Do I keep copyright to my work?

Yes. Stories are created as All Rights Reserved, and contributors retain copyright in their original contributions. The Terms explain the permissions granted when a contribution is submitted and published.
